arrival to Warsaw in the early afternoon and departure for a panoramic city tour. Places of interest: the Old Town with the Castle Square , the Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square, the Royal Route with it’s beautiful palaces and monuments of famous Poles, the Theatre Square, the Tomb of unknown Soldier.
After the tour transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Full day excursion to Zelazowa Wola (50 km from Warsaw) , Chopin birthplace. The birth home, rebuilt after the 2nd world war, became a typical Polish rustic villa in the countyside. Currently it is a museum with furniture, vintage musical instruments and facsimiles of manuscripts of the great composer. Not far away from Zelazowa Wola lies Brochow village with a fortified church from the XVI c. where Chopin was baptised. This church is one of the most valued monuments of defensive architecture.
Lunch on the way in the Palace in Nieborow.
Return to Warsaw. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
breakfast. In the morning visit to the church of Saint Cross
where is a memorial plaque dedicated to Frederick Chopin with the urn with his heart, brought back to Warsaw after his death, according to Chopin will. Then visit to Ostrogski Castle, the headquaters of the Frederic Chopin Association and museum. Visit to Salony – a part of former Chopin’s family apartment while their stay in Warsaw.
Lunch in the restaurant and return to the hotel. Afternoon excursion to the Lazienki Park – visit to the Park and Palace on the water. Private piano concert of Chopin music in the Palace.
Dinner in alocal restaurant or at hotel.
